Roasted Asparagus

2 lbs asparagus, woody ends snapped off
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
sea salt

Place ingredients in order stated in a casserole dish ending with salt to taste. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes, toss ingredients. Roast for 20 more minutes.
