THE ONION BURGER

3 tbsp butter
2 med. onions chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced onion, tomato, lettuce, buns, ketchup, mustard
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add onions. Cook until onions turn a golden brown. Take care not to burn. The onions should be carmelized at this point. Place ground meat in large bowl. Add onions, mixing well. Form meat into 4 to 6 oz. patties. Prepare hot fore in grill. When coals are grayed, spread them out evenly. place patties on grate about 4" above coals. Cook 10 minutes per side for s medium done burger. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, pickle, sliced onion, mustard and ketchup.
