SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS
6 center cut pork chops 2 tbsp. flour
1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley 1/2 c. sour cream
3 1/2 oz. French fried onions Salt and pepper to taste
Brown chops in skillet. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper.
Combine soup and seasonings in saucepan with 1/2 cup water. Heat through, mixing well. Add parsley, sour cream and 1/2 of the onions. Mix well and pour over the chops. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Sprinkle remaining onions over chops and bake an additional 5 minutes.
