| 2 lb. lean ground beef | 2 lg onions, chopped |
| 4 c;oves garlic, minced | 2 tbsp chili powder |
| 1 tsp salt | 2 tsp ground cumin |
| 2 tsp dried oregano leaves | 1 tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 tsp hot sauce | 1 can whole tomatoes, undrained, chopped |
| Tomato sauce as desired for consistency | 12 oz. beer |
| 1 7 oz. can chopped green chilies | |
| In large saucepan, cook meat, onions and garlic until meat is well browned. Add remaining ingredients, except tomatoes and beer. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes and beer. Heat to boiling, reduce to simmer. Add sauce if desired for consistency. Simmer 20 minutes. |
