MY CHILI

2 lb. lean ground beef 2 lg onions, chopped
4 c;oves garlic, minced 2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt 2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried oregano leaves 1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp hot sauce 1 can whole tomatoes, undrained, chopped
Tomato sauce as desired for consistency 12 oz. beer
1 7 oz. can chopped green chilies
In large saucepan, cook meat, onions and garlic until meat is well browned. Add remaining ingredients, except tomatoes and beer. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes and beer. Heat to boiling, reduce to simmer. Add sauce if desired for consistency. Simmer 20 minutes.
