Place into 8"x13"x2" pyrex pan Bake 45 min. to 1 hr. at 325 degrees. Serves 8 to 10 This recipe has been a part of every family get together for as far back as anyone can remember. Whenever the kids invite grandma and grandpa to dinner (and that's about anytime they get hungry) our price of admission is always a good size bowl of grandma's green rice. One of the nice things about this dish is that it can be premixed at home - finished off right up to the oven time - and carried to the site of the dinner for final cooking. Really handy when your host lives about 1 1/2 hours or more down the road, (We have to fix two or three batches when all the young'uns are home.) |
