| 1/2 lb. Ground ham | 1/2 lb. Ground pork |
| 2/3 c. oats | 1 egg, beaten |
| 1/2 c. milk | 1/2 c. brown sugar |
| 2 tbsp. flour | 1 tsp. dry mustard |
| 2/3 c. orange juice (fresh) | 2 tbsp. vinegar |
| 6 whole cloves | 1/3 c. dark syrup |
| Beat the egg and combine with ham, pork, oats and milk. Blend well. Chill and shape into small balls. Place in shallow baking dish and bake at 300°F for 1 hour. Drain excess juice.
Combine brown sugar, flour, mustard, orange juice, vinegar, cloves and syrup in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thick. Pour glaze over ham balls. Bake an additional 15 minutes. |
