| 1 clove garlic. crushed | 1/4 ts[ ground nutmeg |
| 4 C grated Swiss cheese | 1/4 tsp ground black pepper |
| 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch | 1 lg loaf brusty French bread |

Place wine and garlic in fondue pot. Heat over medium heat.When wine begins to simmer
(do not boil)add Swiss cheese. Stir until melted. Blend kirsch with cornstarch.When
smooth add to cheese mix. Stir vigorously until thickened. Add nutmeg and pepper Transfer pot to stand over candle (or sterno). Keep warm. Serve with cubes of bread. |
