| 1/4 c. salad oil | 1 Clove garlic, minced |
| 1 small head romaine lettuce | 4 endive leaves |
| 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated | 1/4 tsp. lemon juice |
| 1 egg, beaten | 1/2 tsp. salt |
| 1/4 tsp. black pepper | 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce |
| 1/2 c. bacon bits | |
| Combine oil and garlic. Let stand for 30 minutes. Shred lettuce and endive into salad bowl. Add cheese to lettuce and endives. Mix oil-garlic mixture, Worcestershire Sauce and lemon juice. Add to lettuce and cheese. Add egg. Toss until egg is well mixed.
Add salt, pepper and bacon bits when serving. Toss well. Ranch Dressing may be substituted for the dressing. Omit oil-garlic, Worcestershire Sauce and lemon juice. Serves 8. ©2000Recipes4U.com™ |
