BBQ SAUCE

1 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. cider viegar 1/4 c. tomato paste
1/4 c. molasses 2 tbs. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. worcestershire 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. liquid smoke
Combine all ingredients over medium heat, bringing to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook until mixture thickens, stirring often. If using on meat while cooking, it is best to brush on meat at last 10 minutes of cooking since the sauce will burn quickly. Also good on the side.
